'The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart' is all set to premiere in less than a day. But are fans ready for it? Will this new spin-off series be a hard pass or a much watch?

The new spin-off series is more or less like 'American Idol' or a 'A Star Is Born' meets 'The Bachelor'. Adding a new spin to 'Bachelor in Paradise', 'The Bachelor: Listen to Your Heart' will revolve around 20 single men and women who embark on a new journey to find the love of their lives through music.

Over the course of six episodes, we will witness these singles pair up, perform both individually and as a couple. They will have to express their romance and musical chemistry to the celebrity guest judges who appear in each episode.

At the end of six weeks, there will be only one couple who ultimately remains standing on 'The Bachelor' stage. In an interview with E News, Chris Harrison described the series as the best of both worlds. "I think you can describe it as Bachelor in Paradise meets A Star Is Born. If you're a fan of The Bachelor you will sense that familiarity. You're gonna think, oh, okay, this feels right. It feels familiar. But then at the same time, it feels fresh. It feels different. It has this kind of eccentric musical twist to it that feels really good, so it's kind of the best of both worlds."

But do fans think the same? Taking to Reddit, some fans affirm it's going to be a hard pass for them, as they do not wish to contribute to the viewership. While most affirmed they will hate-watch it, but only because they are stuck in quarantine.

"But Chris Harrison said “everybody is talking about it” so it must be true. I say hard pass but it should help get over the debacle, train wreck, $h!! Show we just endured. I will watch with one eye closed," a fan on Reddit shared.

"Yes! I was adamant about not watching it pre-quarantine, but now I will fully embrace hate-watching it with wine and chocolate and the chance to have something to read Reddit threads about. XOXO," wrote a fan. While another added, "i’m watching out of pure boredom because of quarantine. and lowkey i live for trainwrecks."

Mel and Matt (ABC)

"I  wasn’t planning on it... but then the entire country shut down, I’m jobless, and my wine consumption is up about 300% so fuck it yeah I’m watching," a fan shared. Adding to that another said, "I say hard pass right now but tomorrow I could very much be watching it and regretting my life."

"I went from there’s no way I’m going to watch that to actually being kinda excited bc I’m ready for some new people! Also being stuck at home with nothing else to do is a big reason why I’m watching it now," a fan wrote.

So are you going to be one among those fans who are giving the new series a hard pass? Or are you going to hate-watch it like the rest? Let us know in the comments below.
