In yet another dramatic episode of ‘The Bachelor’, the house was riddled with tension as Matt James stepped in to address the division between the “OG girls” and “new girls”. It all began with Anna Redman's inappropriate comments about Brittany Galvin. Rumors regarding her allegedly being an escort were floating for a while and it did not sit well with Matt.

In the February 1 episode, Brittany tells Matt that she is being subjected to bullying and hasn’t been able to cope with the fact that her fellow suitresses were spreading rumors that could ruin her life. Matt then assures her he would take care of it and ends up sending Anna home for being complicit with the toxic behavior.

As soon as Anna left, a worried Victoria Larson goes about apologizing to the new suitresses for her behavior. She even tells Ryan Claytor that her intention was never to bully them, but none seem convinced with her justification.

Victoria was the one to encourage Anna with her speculations about Brittany and when this was brought to Matt’s attention through Katie Thurston, he told Victoria that he needs to “think about it a lot” as he wants to put an end to the toxicity.

Victoria breaks down on seeing Matt’s reaction to her explanation and tells on camera that she in no way contributed to the hostile environment. She even says she wouldn’t want a man in her life who wouldn’t understand her true nature. When Matt cancels the group date and jumps to the rose ceremony, Victoria says she “would die” if she was sent home for her behavior, which she continues to defend.

However, Matt makes up his mind and decides to not give Victoria any a rose, thus sending her home. Before walking out, Victoria even says that she feels "sorry" for Matt for not trusting her over the hearsay.

Viewers however seem happy about getting rid of Victoria who they have dubbed a "terrible villain". One user wrote, "me: cheering that he doesn’t give victoria a rose matt: doesn’t give her a rose me: #bachelorabc #TheBachelor. Another added, "We did it #BachelorNation, the witch is dead!! But, Matt looking at Victoria saying that she feels sorry for him...I was feeling so awkward lmao!!#TheBachelor #ByeFelicia #dingdongthewitchisdead #fromqueentojester."

One said, "Victoria was a terrible villain. #TheBachelor" Another added, "I hope Victoria gets therapy. Every other word out of her mouth was calling someone a slut or hoe and then she acts like she doesn’t know the house is toxic? Good riddance #TheBachelor."
