Kellie Wells-Brinkley and LaVonne Idlette are former Olympic hurdlers who had been trying their best to stay in the game. However, in the latest episode (October 21), the pair became the second team to be eliminated. The pair had been struggling from the start and had hoped to make their comeback in the second episode, but things did not go their way.

Unfortunately, Kellie and LaVonne struggled to find the right destination as their taxi driver happened to lose charge on his phone. With no map to direct him, he struggled to find the right location. Even though the pair managed to reach the destination on time, it had taken up a lot of their time. To make things worse, in the last task for the day, Kellie and LaVonne struggled with getting things right as they failed to read an important detail that was mentioned in the clue. The task needed the teams to decorate a truck exactly like the one parked in front of them.

However, the one tiny detail that almost every team missed was fixing the horn. Even though Kellie and LaVonne got lucky as they saw another team fixing the horn and they then started fixing their own, the pair were unable to catch up with the rest of them. They became the last team to arrive in the competition and were eliminated. Kellie admitted she had expected them to go on further in the race.

However, she was glad that she got a chance to participate in in the competition with LaVonne. The pair said that the competition helped them strengthen their bond. LaVonne confessed that they had hugged four times on the show and it was more than they had hugged in the 20 years of their friendship.

The pair had previously struggled to do some tasks as Kellie had revealed she was finding it hard to do tasks with numbers because she was dyslexic. Despite this, the pair had managed to complete every task that was given to them. Even though they had to bid goodbye to the competition in week 2, the duo said they were happy with the time they had on the show.

'The Amazing Race' Season 32 airs on Wednesdays at 9 pm ET on CBS.
