How did 'Temptation Island' star Kristen Ramos' brother die? The tragic story of the reality star's huge loss
Kristen Ramos, the 26-year-old girlfriend of Julian Allen came on 'Temptation Island' to see if she can forgive her boyfriend for cheating on her in the past. While her fellow cast members have spilled their guts and shared some of the most personal and intimate details of their life on camera, Kristen always preferred to stay mum and held back from opening up.
The New-Jersey based therapist has however hinted several times on the show that she has gone through a lot of painful and traumatic events in her life that left a deep emotional scar on her life. When the host of the show, Mark Walberg tried to get her to talk about it, she made it very clear that she wasn't ready to go back and relive the painful period of her life by discussing it. Mark respected her wishes and made it clear that she didn't have to say or do anything that she wasn't comfortable with or ready for. However, on the latest episode of 'Temptation Island', Kristen finally lets her guard down and reveals the painful secret that she has been carrying around and has been weighing her down.

During the bonfire, Kristen is shown a clip of her boyfriend sitting alone in his room and crying by himself. When she sees it she breaks down. Mark asks her what upset her, she then explains how it's hard for her to watch her man cry when she isn't around to comfort or console him. She says that watching him cry hurts her. Mark then once again asks her what really brought Julian and her to the island.
Kristen explained that originally she came on the show because she had trust issues with Julian, owing to him cheating on her in the past. But once she started her journey on the show, she realized that there were a lot of things that she needed to work on within herself. In response, Mark asks her if she feels that she is working on herself. She cries while pointing out how it's hard.
Mark goes and sits down next to her and asks her what happened to her. She then slowly revealed that she lost her brother She says, "I lost my brother, he overdosed." Unfortunately, the episode ended before we could learn any further details about her brother and his passing. None of Kristen's social media accounts reveal any details of her brother, so we will just have to wait for her to share the details of the tragic event herself.
In an earlier episode when Mark asked her why she chose to stay on with Julian despite being cheated on, she explained how during a difficult period in her time, he firmly stood by her and helped her through it. So eventually she began to feel safe around him and saw him as her safety blanket, despite the many issues in their relationship. Hopefully, Kristen will be able to heal herself from her painful past and find a way to move forward.
