MAUI, HAWAII: 'Temptation Island' Season 5's couple is making much noise on the internet already. The one person who became the most-talked-about cast member was Vanessa Valente. There is a 10-year age gap between Vanessa, 34, and her boyfriend Roberto Mal, 24. And that has become the major reason for Vanessa being the dominating personality in their relationship.

Vanessa slams Roberto for not meeting her standards. She believes that a "man should be a provider and a protector" in a relationship. Seeing her complain about trivial issues like her hair being damaged because of rain and shouting at Roberto has made the show's fans furious and they called her "toxic".

Is Vanessa being a 'drama queen'?

Well, that's what Roberto claimed in the show. After seeing Vanessa irked by her hair getting fizzy because of the rain, Roberto said in the confessional, "No one can control the rain. There are seven other people here and it's like you're the only one here throwing the fizz, being the drama queen." Despite accepting the fact that she was being a bit dramatic about the rain and her hair, Vanessa slammed Roberto for not taking care of her. After trying hard to make Vanessa understand the situation, Roberto gave up and ended up saying sorry to her.

'She’s abusive AF'

A fan took to the Reddit thread to discuss Vanessa's traits. One commented, "I love that Vanessa isn’t sure he’s mature enough but she’s acting like a toddler. She’s abusive AF." Another claimed, "Yeah, betting he’s the first to give in to temptation. Vanessa gives off controlling vibes." Furthermore, a fan wrote, "Vanessa is such a drama queen. No doubt she'll end up alone at the end." 

A few fans on Twitter also slammed the star for being the unwanted drama in the show. One tweeted, "Vanessa is the def the crazy type. She’s def going to be going through you." Another wrote, "Roberto, you seriously need to move on because Vanessa is the worst." "I’m guessing Roberto & Vanessa’s relationship is mainly s*xual. Nothing of substance," guessed a fan. Another posted, "Vanessa and this rain. GIRL YOU ARE ON A TROPICAL ISLAND. USE A DRYER."

'Temptation Island' Season 5 will release new episodes every Wednesday at 9 pm ET on USA Network.
