When 'Temptation Island' star Casey Starchak realized that his girlfriend Ashley H was well on her way to moving on from their relationship, he immediately devised a plan to win her back.

His plan included everything Ashley ever wanted when they were together prior to coming on the show — commitment and a ring! Unfortunately for Casey, his grand plan to win back his girl didn’t go as planned.

He used up his overnight date with Rachel to pick out an engagement ring, and finally, on the day of the final bonfire, we saw the reality star pop the big question.

Though Ashley turned down Casey's grand proposal and walked into the sunset with Ben, we were curious to know what the brunette beauty thought of Casey's proposal.

Ashley explains how it wasn't a setting for proposal with, "I was upset with Casey's proposal because at the final bonfire he got his time to talk and then I'm supposed to get my time. He didn't even let me speak before he got down on one knee. It was just not the setting for a proposal."

When Casey saw Ashley getting closer to Ben and forming a connection which he never saw coming, he was naturally upset and didn't take to it too well. He compared the situation to the infamous "mouse in a box" comment, which led us to wonder whether his proposal to Ashley was from a place of love or fear.

Ashley thinks that it came from both a place of love and fear but mostly fear. She reveals, "I really think that he proposed to me out of both love and fear but honestly, mostly fear."

Being on 'Temptation Island' is no piece of cake, considering how intense the experience can get. It certainly wouldn't have been easy for a sensitive person like Ashley, so we asked her what was the most challenging part for her on the show.

"I think the most challenging thing for me was to let go of how much I spent of my life thinking and talking about Casey. I was able to really focus on myself that way because before I was just having a hard time actually realizing the things he was doing and saying," replied the reality star.
