Televangelist Kenneth Copeland slammed for frenzied laughter at media declaring Joe Biden winner in viral video
A video of a conservative pastor and televangelist Kenneth Copeland has gone viral on the internet as he laughed at the media declaring Joe Biden’s victory in the 2020 presidential election. Copeland’s video was posted on Twitter by Right Wing Watch on Sunday night, November 8, where he was heard saying, “The media said what?" He then soon burst into laughter as he stated, “The media said Joe Biden's president!" before again laughing maniacally for at least 30 seconds. The video, which has been viewed more than ten million times, also showed his audience clapping for him and applauding him.

People on Twitter slammed him for his reaction on Biden’s win as one said, “This filtered excerpt might seem cheesy. It's not. It's a variation of command voice/presence techniques employed by law enforcement and the military. Motivational speakers use it, albeit less violently. This is professional brainwashing for your viewing pleasure. It works.” A second user commented, “I have the exact same reaction when I think about all these people being grifted by charlatans like Kenneth Copeland. He actually makes Rev. Kane in Poltergeist 2 look normal and not creepy.”

“I can't watch til the end bc that's probably when the Old One slithers out of his mouth and becomes a growing gelatinous mass that encompasses the entire assembly. Terrifying,” a third person said. A fourth one added: “Kenneth Copeland is one of the most insidious and evil people in the world, and that’s a world in which Stephen Miller exists.” “The guy in the video below is a billionaire televangelist who most people haven't heard of. His followers believe every word he says, no matter how disturbing,” a fifth one said.

The 83-year-old’s video came months after he came under fire for claiming he treated his viewers of Covid-19 through their television screens. Copeland made the bizarre claim in March during a "special report" on his Victory channel titled "Standing Against Coronavirus." On the show, Copeland placed his hand towards the camera and asked his followers at home to touch their television screens before saying, "Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord Jesus. He received your healing." He then bowed his head and added: “Now say it: I take it. I have it. It's mine. I thank you and praise you for it. I praise you that I'm well and whole. According to the word of God, I'm healed. And I consider not my own body. I consider not symptoms in my body. But only that which God has promised. Only that what the word has said. By his stripes, I was healed and by his stripes, I am healed now. I’m not the sick trying to get healed. I’m the healed and the devil is trying to give me the flu... or whatever else kind of thing he’s trying."
Besides, Copeland also said, “It (coronavirus) is so weak their symptoms are almost alike. Some people had it and didn’t even know it. They just haven’t found the way to knock that thing in the head yet." “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind. So fear is a spirit and that spirit is the devil and he is the spirit of death.”
