Teen son tells his mother he wants to rape her and forcibly touches her breast after watching chimpanzees mate on TV
An 18-year-old has been accused of sexually assaulting his own mother after reportedly talking to her about sex while watching a program on chimpanzees on Channel 4's 'Secret Life of the Zoo'.
The teen, whose name has not been revealed for legal reasons, is reportedly on trial after being charged with sexual assault and engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, his sister who was 10 years old at the time.
The Hull Crown Court, on Tuesday, September 24, head that the teen, who was 16 at the time of the incident on January 4, 2018, brought up the conversation of sex while his mother was watching an episode of the show, featuring chimpanzees mating.
According to prosecutor Lowe, the teen spoke to his mother about a video he had seen in his father's phone about his parents engaging in sexual intercourse. He then told her that the video made him want to have sex with her too.
"He told her that since he had seen the video of her having sex with her ex-partner [his dad], he couldn't stop thinking about having sex with her and raping her," Lowe said.
The mother, speaking from behind a screen in the court, said that she told the boy: "I'm your mum," and then walked away to the kitchen "to let him think about what he'd said."
"He just looked at me like he'd done nothing wrong. I started drying some pots I had on the draining board and then that's when he came up to me. I had been in the kitchen maybe a few minutes," she said.
"He came up behind me and put his hands under my armpits and then that's when he started touching my right breast and was pushing me against the draining board, and rubbing himself up and down me, his genitals in contact with my body," according to the Hull Live.
"I told him to stop and tried pushing him back but he was so strong and I could hear him breathing really heavily in my right ear," the mother said. "He stopped, didn't say anything just moved away and went into the living room. I don't know how long the incident was. It felt like forever."
The woman said that after the incident she rushed to her bedroom and barricaded herself with a set of drawers against the door. She then called the boy's father and the police. After she heard the boy leave the property, a 999 operator told her to leave the room and lock the door.
Defense attorney Charlotte Baines, however, refuted the mother's claims and suggested that an argument had taken place between the mother and the boy and she had taken his phone.
She claimed that the teen, in an attempt to get the phone back, accidentally exposed his mother's breast. The trial in the case continues.
