Angie Douthit had been battling cancer for more than two years and in the latest episode (April 28) the show aired some of her last moments. While Mackenzie McKee knew how her mom had been battling cancer, she confessed she never asked how bad it was because she didn't want to know.

Angie decided to be honest and came to the point and said, 'it is pretty bad'. She revealed she had to use a numbing cream for her mouth if she wanted to eat because the radiation made her jaw swollen making it hard for her to eat. It was highly upsetting for Mackenzie to hear her mom struggling because of the disease.

Angie further revealed that the latest reports stated that she had cancer in her bones. She joked about the incident saying she told the doctors that were bad but was met with a reply by them stating that cancer had spread to her brain and that was bad. She further revealed that her kidney and lungs were also damaged.

Looking at the situation she was in, Angie could not believe how life took a turn for her. She confessed she went from running marathons to barely walking. Despite this, Angie was not holding back in making sure that she takes life for what it is. Mackenzie revealed that Angie went on a zip line when the doctors had asked her to take rest.

She confessed that a person only lives once and she wanted to do everything she could. Angie soon turned to a serious conversation where she reminded Mackenzie that she could not leave her husband without paying off the house debt. She recalled that all the other payments have been made and only the house remained.

Angie confessed she would not leave until that was paid back as well. However, things soon took a turn for the worse as Angie was found unconscious in her house and had to be admitted to the hospital. The family accepted that she may not be coming back from the hospital.

Mackenzie decided to take matters in her hand and organized a Go Fund Me page with the hopes of raising enough money to pay for the house. Fortunately, she managed to make enough money. Angie was told that her last wish was fulfilled as the money for the house was generated.

Angie smiled wide as she was happy to know that her last wish was fulfilled. Sadly, she passed away in December 2019.

'Teen Mom OG' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
