'Teen Mom OG': Mackenzie McKee reveals Josh caught her talking to guys on Tinder and it ended in a fight
Mackenzie and Josh McKee had been having their ups and downs throughout the last season of 'Teen Mom OG'. While everyone thought that their relationship was back on track as he proposed Mackenzie again, things took a different turn a couple of weeks after the season finale aired.
Mackenzie took to her social media and accused Josh of cheating on her with her cousin. The reality star made this accusation after she noticed multiple calls being made to a particular number. When Mackenzie searched for the number, she was shocked to find out that it was her cousin who they had been in contact with for a long time. While she accused him of cheating without finding the reason what had happened, Mackenzie is now coming forward detailing what went down between them. Opening up on the Domenick Nati Show, Mackenzie revealed she was caught on Tinder by Josh.
"We were not doing good for months and months and I was on Tinder. He found out and I was making a decision that I shouldn't have been making and I am sorry for that. One day he caught me doing what I shouldn't have been doing and he said to me, "I think it is time for us to be done" and we got into a big fight," she recalled.
The reality star revealed that she had been talking to some of the guys on Tinder and Josh's friend found out. While she had been using a closeup picture so people don't recognize her on the app, she was not able to hide her identity for a long time as Josh created another account on Tinder using a fake name and profile picture that did not show his head just to send her a text saying "you have been caught."
This conversation left Mackenzie angry and she decided to go through his phone only to find one particular number dialed multiple times. "He left and moved on and that's when I decided to check his phone record and I kept seeing one number over and over again. I did exaggerate after I checked in and see this, I went straight to the internet and I posted this big thing on Facebook," she said.
Mackenzie further revealed that this happened when the two had been having a lot of problems in their relationship. "We were living under the same roof but we were not together," she said. After seeing those calls between him and her cousin, Mackenzie recalled feeling hurt.
"It didn't make sense and I thought it is an affair. I thought I am going to destroy his name and her name," she recalled. "I found out that Josh was helping his brother, who is older to him, and he has no phone no money, but he does have drugs and she was going through Josh for anxiety medications for my cousin. His phone was being used to go back and forth and I was furious. She did show me the text messages and that was a secret that they had behind me and I did not think it was right."
The two managed to sit down and talk things out. Mackenzie realized that she did wrong by rushing to social media to bring his name down. She admitted that they both have ruined the marriage but they were in a better place now. While the two are not yet divorced, they are not wearing their wedding rings and are open to seeing other people.
