'Teen Mom OG': While the world blames Amber for domestic violence, Maci defends her actions

Amber Portwood was recently arrested for domestic violence but Maci does not think she is to be blamed for it

'Teen Mom OG' is back with a new season and one thing that stands out is how Amber Portwood dealt with the domestic violence allegations. In today's (March 17) episode, the show started with the cast finding out about the news of Amber's arrest. Maci Bookout and Catelynn Baltierra were the first ones to find out. 

Maci informed her husband, Taylor McKinney, about the arrest. Maci defended Amber's actions as she accounted for her mental health for whatever had happened. Amber had been open about her mental health and Maci thought that one should not overlook that. 

Maci decided to stick by Amber as she knew there were somethings that were beyond her control. Meanwhile, Catelynn was also concerned about Amber. Talking to her husband, Tyler Baltierra, she revealed that she was worried about Amber as she was her friend.

However, Tyler had other things to worry about. He was worried about Amber's son who was just one-year-old. He did not think that it was right for him to be dragged in the middle of the argument. Similar thoughts were expressed by Cory Wharton, Cheyenne Floyd's ex.

He did not want their son to be dragged in the middle of the argument as he thought that it was unfair to Amber. Cheyenne said she was worried about Amber too and hoped that things would be fine soon. Meanwhile, Amber was disturbed with what had happened. She knew that her reputation had been ruined and she felt embarrassed about what happened. 

Show producer David asked Amber if she planned on getting back with Andrew Glennon and she made it clear that she was not interested. She revealed that it was because of him that she had lost everything she had worked for in her life. She also blamed him for taking her son away from her. 

Amber later hinted that due to the events, she was forced to stay away from the public and that stopped her from doing things that she would have done otherwise. The reality star broke into tears as she found it hard to adjust to how her life had changed. Despite this, one thing that she was happy was about having her cast beside her. 

'Teen Mom OG' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
