'Teen Mom 2': Christy accuses Jade of attacking her during reunion, fans say 'Jade deserves better'

Jade Cline and Christy Smith did not hold back in the season premiere of the show as their relationship seemed to deteriorate after the arrest

Jade Cline and her mother Christy Smith have never had a good relationship. For years Jade struggled to get on the same page with her mother. In the previous season, viewers saw Jade struggling to understand how she should deal with her mother after she was arrested.

Christy was arrested for possessing a controlled substance. Jade found out about the arrest after she got a call from the prison and Christy requested her to come and bail her out. Unfortunately, Jade did not have enough money. She decided not to bail her mother out and the rest of the family agreed. While Christy finally managed to get out of the prison, things between the two did not get any better. During the reunion, Jade was asked about how she felt upon hearing that her mother was arrested. During the reunion, Christy was also asked questions about her arrest. Unfortunately, that did not fit well with her. 

Christy thought she was being cornered and attacked for what had happened. She was not a fan of the questions that were thrown at her and at the same time, she did not appreciate how Jade did not think there was anything wrong with asking questions about what had happened. Seeing how things were not going to get any better, Christy stormed out of the interview. 

After reuniting backstage, Christy and Jade got into an argument once again. Jade made it clear that Christy did not have to film for the show if she didn't want to. However, Christy was interested in resolving the matter that took place during the reunion. Their argument went to the extent that Jade pushed out the camera crew from the room. 

She then gave an update about what was happening and admitted that she and her mother were trying to work things out. She further added that since they were working in the same restaurant, it was hard not to talk. While Jade and Christy have been trying to work things out, fans thought Jade was being treated unfairly. 

"Jade Deserves Better. There’s Never Any Sense Of Peace In Her Life," read one comment. "I think jade has the right to feel what she feels she just tired of hearing her mother cry all the damn time. It’s hard to respect someone who you have ironically raise," said another. 

"Jade’s mom is crazy y’all been talking to each other like that. Jade said nothing out the way. Smh," said another. "Dealing with a difficult parent is just difficult. Take the high road Jade," another advised. 

'Teen Mom 2' airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm ET on MTV.
