In the latest preview of MTV’s ‘Teen Mom’ we see mom Leah Messer contemplating her decision to go to Costa Rica with her sister Victoria and her baby due to the rising number of coronavirus cases.

Leah Messer, who started her journey on '16 and Pregnant', followed by ‘Teen Mom 2’, is now an author of her autobiographical and self-help book 'Hope, Grace, & Faith’. The video begins with Leah’s daughters Addie, Aleeah and Ali playing while Leah was on a call with her sister Victoria. She tells her sister that even though she agreed to go to Costa Rica with her, she doesn’t think it’s a good idea since the situation during the pandemic was pretty scary. She further tells her sister that daughter Ali already has a compromised immune system and she wouldn’t be able to fight the disease the way Leah and Victoria could if they happened to get easily transmitted disease.

We have previously seen that Ali suffers from a condition called muscular dystrophy and she needs a lot of care and attention as recommended by the doctor. During a situation like a pandemic, Leah decided to follow her maternal instinct and do whatever is best for her kids.

Victoria said she was expecting Leah might want to back out of the trip and she supported her decision. She further said as a mother she wanted to make a choice to take her newborn son to meet his father. She said she couldn’t imagine not seeing her kid for two months and understands what the child’s dad must be going through.

Leah had earlier made plans to visit Costa Rica and then directly go to Las Angeles to promote her book. But she decided to cancel all of it last minute taking Ali into consideration. She said, “It’s 100% my responsibility to make sure she is safe.”

A fan commented on the video, saying, “Every time I watch #TeenMom2 Leah’s segments make me so emotional. I truly am so proud of her growth and I don’t even know her!” While another comment made us wonder about the timeline of the shooting of the episode as it said, “This was filmed before the shutdown in March.”
