'Teen Mom 2' reunions always allow fans to come one step closer to the cast members since they try and be honest at this time in their interaction. However, it looks like fans will not be seeing Kailyn Lowry in this year's reunion special. Kailyn sat down with co-host Lindsie Chrisley on the latest episode of the Coffee Convos and revealed that she is opting out of reunion special this season. Kailyn revealed that she didn't want to invite drama into her life and being on the reunion would mean an open door for drama.

Kailyn Lowry attends the 2018 MTV Video Music Awards at Radio City Music Hall on August 20, 2018 in New York City.

Given the fact her co-stars Briana DeJesus and Jenelle Evans, with whom Kailyn has had differences in the past, will be present, it does not come as a surprise that the reality star is choosing to skip the session. "They have asked me if I will sit on the couch with everybody and I did say no,” she said.

Kailyn further added, “It doesn’t have anything to do with Briana or the drama, or Jenelle, or any of that. It’s more so for personal reasons. I really just don’t want to go back to that space.” Kailyn noted that she does not want to involve herself in unnecessary drama.

The reality star noted that often people were pushed against each other in order to create drama as a form of content. “I feel like there was drama in the past and, based on that, I don’t trust the producers and I don’t trust some of the cast members,” she noted. Kailyn did not hesitate to tell the names of the people that she did not have a problem filming with.  “I won’t sit on the couch with anyone but Chelsea and Leah,” she said. “It’s nothing against Chelsea." Kailyn also added that Jade is fine. Kailyn also spoke about being known just for 'Teen Mom'.

The reality star noted that people would often approach her asking if she was from the show and it did not fit well with her as she noted "I have an identity outside Teen mom". The reality star further added that she was happy her podcast allowed her to show the world a different side to her than what they usually saw on the show.
