'Teen Mom 2' star Jenelle Evans says she's 'waiting on MTV' for an answer to do her own thing

Jenelle Evans was asked to leave the 'Teen Mom' franchise and the reality star opened about her current situation hinting that it is not good.

Jenelle Evans was fired from 'Teen Mom 2' after her husband, David Eason, was accused of shooting and killing their dog for biting their 2-year-old in the face. While one might have expected that Evans and MTV were on good terms despite the decision, in a recent question and answer session on her Instagram page Evans hinted that she was still having a hard time ending her contract with MTV.  One of the questions from the fan read, "MTV said you are gone for good".

To this Evans replied, "Tell them to answer me about my contract so I am not held back from working." This left fans wondering if Evans wanted to come back on the show and join the cast. However, she was quick to shut down those rumors in another post.

"When I said I was waiting on MTV a while back, I did not mean I wanted my job back or was waiting for my job. I was waiting for an answer to do my own thing. I am legally under a contract still and have to ask permission for everything," she noted. Evans hinted that her discussion with MTV about her contract has been unfruitful.

At the same time, Evans noted that she had a lot more to say but since she was in a contract she did not have the right to speak a lot. "Most of the time I talk subliminally on here because of legalities. I try to explain it to all of you the best way I can," she further noted.

Evans also addressed the rumors which stated that she had been fired from a make-up collaboration. The fan noted, "Saw an article that you were fired from your makeup gig. What's the real story?" Evans noted that it was her decision to end her relationship with the company and it wasn't because she was fired.

"1. How can you fire the owner of the company? 2. No termination letter has been signed.  3. I have switched companies and I asked to end the relationship due to the kits not being as expected. 4. My lawyer is handling all the legal side of things. 5. Was promised a lot from the other company and nothing happened that was planned," she explained.
