On the December 1 episode of ‘Teen Mom 2’, Briana DeJesus got into a scuffle with her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy of Nova, Devoin. The fight was regarding Devoin not paying child support because he felt Briana has enough money to sustain herself and the kids.
Earlier this season, Briana had asked for child support money from her two baby daddies, Luis Hernandez and Devoin Austin. Luis has not been present in Briana's life as much as she had wanted. The two share their daughter, Stella, and had been in an on and off-again relationship. Meanwhile, Devoin had been trying to be more present in his daughter Nova's life. Unfortunately, it was not the same when the topic of helping out with finances came into the picture.

Briana sat both the baby daddies down and told them they had to step up and contribute to financing. Briana also warned that she didn't want to drag them to the court for child support, but wouldn't mind doing so if there came a need. Devoin seemed hesitant at first as he revealed he didn't have a job at the moment. However, Brianna's mother was quick to interrupt this conversation and asked him to find a job for the sake of his daughter.

Luis and Devoin had initially both agreed to help her out but as the show progressed Devoin seemed reluctant to pay his share and gave excuses. In the latest episode, he felt it wasn’t right for her to ask for that kind of money from him ($250 child support to be exact), when he believes she’s making a lot of money from the show. Teen Mom’s official handle tweeted, ““I get put in a really f****d up situation.” With everything going on, @xobrianadej feels like she’s been pulling all of the weight with Nova on tomorrow night’s #TeenMom2.”

During a heated text message exchange that played out on screen, Briana said Devoin treats her like a “joke”, and while he insisted that she makes a lot of money from the show. She said she also works at a corporate company to make ends meet, but he said she only does that to “try and get smart”. He then went ahead and blasted her for getting a “$15,000 body”, referring to her public plastic surgery procedures she had gotten earlier, but she said she got everything done for “free”.

The bizarre conversation made viewers question the kind of man Devoin is and they hoped Briana would file for child-support. “Brianna-file child support already #TeenMom2. I know you were trying not to go there but, Devoin is asking for whatever they decide,” wrote a viewer. “Yo Devon is unbelievable! He just made me want to puke,” wrote another viewer.

Believing the fact that a child is a responsibility a twitter user wrote, “It doesn't matter how much someone makes. If you have a child, you have a responsibility to contribute to their needs/wants... Even if that means agreeing to pay a $ amount that is within your budget. Courtesy (on both sides) can go a long way.” Another comment said, “@xobrianadej gotta pick better men. Devoin is crazy. So what if you got a $15,000 body what’s that have to do with him being a man and providing something for his daughter. Whew chileee, these lazy ass bum ass men! #TeenMom2.” Another viewer wrote, “See this is why I can’t let a poor man impregnate me. For the sake of my children. That’s a burden I cannot bear #TeenMom2.”
