‘The Biggest Loser’ crowns Jim DiBattista as the winner, fans cry happy tears at his amazing transformation

The 47-year-old took home the title after going from 385 lbs to 241, a total loss of 144, or 37.4 percent of his starting weight

When Jim DiBattista walked into ‘The Biggest Loser’ his biggest worry was that his life might be cut short and he dreaded the thought of not being there for his wife and children.  Thanks to his unhealthy food choices and lifestyle which over time ended up with him weighing a whopping 385 pounds!

Anybody who has watched the show would know that Jim is anything but a quitter. As a football coach, he is no stranger to hard work and he put in his best foot forward in every challenge that was thrown at him on the show.

With the help of his coach Erica Lugo, he managed to lose a significant amount of weight and also gained immense confidence in himself. He challenged himself to work hard and pushed his boundaries frequently. All his efforts paid off when he was declared the winner of ‘The Biggest Loser’ after the final weigh-in.

At the final weigh-in, we saw that Jim lost 144 pounds, leaving everybody awestruck at his stunning transformation. He credits his weight loss to his healthy eating habits and workouts. He initially had trouble balancing his work, family and self-care, but eventually found a way to manage his time and ensure that he doesn’t neglect himself.

Jim’s victory left fans feeling happy for him and felt that he deserved it. A fan tweeted, “Jim lost 144 pounds & won @biggestloser. A king!! So proud. I adore this season #biggestloser.” Another fan shared, “Congrats, Jim. Way to represent the over 40 crew. So proud of you. #biggestloser #loseweight #gainlife.” “Since Jim walk through that door with his black suit I knew he was the winner. Another fan observed, “Jim wasn’t the best at challenges, but he rocked it each weigh-in. 144lbs lost is insane. The show has its faults, but you see some remarkable transformations. #BiggestLoser.” “COACH (Jim) WON THE #BIGGESTLOSER !!!! I love him so much. I’m so happy for him. I cried like 4 times,” commented a fan.

Aside from the title of winning ‘The Biggest Loser’, Jim took home the $100K prize money and a small vacation at Universal studios with his family.

Micah Collum was the runner-up.
