Nathaniel Halperns's 'Tales From The Loop' seem to have struck a chord with many, owing to its poetic and melancholy understanding of complicated human emotions in the form of sci-fi storytelling. The eight-part series revolves around the residents of a town that is built atop a research facility. Strange things start taking place such as the past and present versions of people running into each other as well as people switching bodies. Starring Jonathan Pryce and Rebecca Hall in the lead roles, the heart of the story lies in the relationships between people, specifically parents and their children.

Fans are full of appreciation for the show and took to social media to express their views. "#TalesFromTheLoop is kind of like Black Mirror, but everything's connected in the same time frame," wrote a fan.

Another tweeted, "#TalesFromTheLoop on @PrimeVideo is everything I want in a show. Beautiful Sci-fi," another tweeted. "Loving #TalesFromTheLoop. It's so awesome to see all this from @simonstalenhag's incredible concept art. I'm loving the atmosphere, score, performances, and very solid direction," a fan wrote.

"#TalesFromTheLoop is magnificent. The pilot episode (stream it free on @PrimeVideo) is *exactly* the kind of mysterious, thoughtful, gorgeous, deeply humane sci-fi escape that we need during this truly disorienting moment in time. I can’t wait to keep exploring this world," another fan wrote.

"This soundtrack is so beautiful," tweeted a fan. "#TalesFromTheLoop is stunning storytelling directed by @markromanek and starring @AbbyFortson #rebeccahall #duncanjoiner #jonathanpryce Moving, beautiful, and thoughtfully engaging. It’s cinematic and worth every bit of your attention!" wrote a fan.

Another fan wrote, "We just watched #TalesFromTheLoop with @AbbyFortson@johnfortson @ChristieLSmith and Joshua — @markromanek Congrats!!! Beyond moving, gorgeous storytelling... We are incredibly proud of you, Abby and the entire cast and crew. And I might have shed a few tears."

In an interview to MEA Worldwide, Rebecca Hall who plays the role of Loretta Wilhardt on the show, said that the story was also metaphorical. As the show is science fiction it has an opportunity to be metaphorical. I think that just means it actually deals with things that are every day and human: loss, change, love - being a person - but it does so in a particularly heightened and poetic way."

'Tales From The Loop' is streaming on Amazon Prime.
