'Tale of the Nine-Tailed' Episode 11 Promo: Did Lee Rang fall for Imoogi's trap, get ready to kill Lee Yeon?
'Tale of the Nine-Tailed' Episode 10 ended on a rather happy note because Lee Rang (Kim Beom) had realized that his brother had never abandoned him and Lee Yeon (Lee Dong-wook) was also able to find where the Imoogi (Lee Tae-ri) lived and who its caretaker was. He might not know that Imoogi had taken the identity of Tae-ri, a new intern who works with Ji-ah and that seems to be the problem that Lee Yeon must deal with in the next episode. We see the Imoogi blackmail Lee Yeon by telling him that he controls the lives of everyone that Ji-ah (Jo Bo-ah) loves and the only way Lee Yeon can promise Ji-ah's safety is by giving up his body to the Imoogi.
It also seems that the Imoogi has managed to manipulate Lee Rang again because he has now concluded that his brother did abandon him again and so he is not ready to die for his brother as he was initially. In fact, this time around he wants to complete the favor that he owes the Imoogi's caretaker and kill his brother so that he can survive. In fact, we see Lee Rang meet Lee Yeon and tell him that he is done sacrificing for his brother and would now want to live for himself. He tells his brother to do him a favor and asks him to die to make things easy for him.
Lee Yeon definitely looks surprised but we find it hard to believe that Lee Rang cannot see through the Imoogi's plan. Is Lee Yeon really going to lose his brother for choosing to keep Ji-ah safe? That did not seem fair in the past and it doesn't now either. In the meantime, what about the question that Lee Rang had asked Taluipa? What changed between wanting to find a way to help his brother and wanting to kill him now? This is something we cannot wait to find out in the upcoming episode.
Then we have Ji-ah herself. Turns out a part of the Imoogi is still buried in Ji-ah, the part that had reacted to Lee Yeon the first time he had gotten close to her. So the only way to save her and the people around her is to kill this part within her or at least separate her from it, but Lee Yeon knows of no way to do this so he approaches the only woman who might know how to and that is Taluipa. Can she help or will she stick to watching events unfold according to the plan of fates?
