When it comes to 'SYTYCD' stage, one thing is for sure -- it's all about bringing your A-game. As per the Season 17 synopsis -- "The upcoming season will feature highly skilled dancers between the ages of 18 and 30, showcasing their talents in various dance styles, including contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, animation, breaking, and more. Those who are selected to move on to the 'SYTYCD' studio will work with world-renowned choreographers and compete each week in a variety of styles, with brand-new twists and turns introduced into the competition."'

So far, dancers like Keaton Kermode, Beau Harmon, James T and Brianna have wowed the judges with their passion and talent. But as the show progresses, the stakes are getting higher.

Taking the stage was Camila Schwarz, from Miami, Florida. Being Venezuelan, Camila was proud of her heritage and let it shine through her dance. She explained that she had been dancing since age 3 and that this was not her first time on the show, seeing that she was a part of 'So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation' Season 13. However, when she got eliminated, she made her way back to the studio and trained harder.

Her determination showed as the judges praised her performance, even though they did have some critical feedback. JoJo pointed out that there was a bit of lag between movements, but she was thoroughly invested in her performance nonetheless.

Fans loved Camila's performance and her energy. "YASSS CAMILA BRING THAT LATINA BALLROOM FIRE ON THAT STAGE!!! OBSESSED WITH YOUR PERFORMANCE  #SYTYCD" tweeted a fan. "Camila's audition was great! And it's so cool to see someone who auditioned for Next Gen as a kid come back!! #SYTYCD" added another. "Camila brought the heat! #SYTYCD" said a fan. "I already think I’m gonna love this Camila girl #SYTYCD she’s so cute too." tweeted another.

While JoJo praised Camila for constantly interacting with the judges, seeing that Camila kept smiling and winking at them, fans were quick to speculate that she might have been the contestant that Matthew Morrison dm-ed. For a quick recap -- Morrison was fired from the show on account of an 'inappropriate relationship with a female contestant.'

"So is she the girl Matthew dm’d #SYTYCD" tweeted a fan. "At this point I’m convinced it was Camila. Whoever it was good for them for standing up and speaking out, Matthew should’ve known better #sytycd" added another.

However, while fans continued to speculate about the contestant's identity, Camila confirmed via Instagram that it was not her. She addressed the same by posting an Instagram story, stating that it was 'false' as seen below.
