'Legends of Tomorrow' Season 5: The Legends discover they are famous now with history filled with timeline blips

The Legends return and head out to fight Rasputin, who is going to be a difficult nut to crack.

'DC's Legends of Tomorrow' will return for the final 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' episode on January 14.

It's going to be a brand new world in the wake of 'Crisis on Infinite Earths,' and it's apparently going to be a brand new timeline as well. After Zari (Tala Ashe) changed time to bring her brother, Behrad (Shayan Sobhian), back to life, the timeline of the Legends has been altered. History is filling up with time blips, and it's up to the Legends to deal with them, right after they deal with their new celebrity lifestyles.

According to the official synopsis released for the premiere of 'Lights, Camera, Action', the next episode, Sara (Caity Lotz), Ray (Brandon Routh) and Mick (Dominic Purcell) are shocked to discover that the Legends have become famous. "It seems that everyone except Sara is loving the spotlight so much so that they invite a documentary crew onboard the Waverider to film them as they investigate a strange new blip in the Timeline," the synopsis reads.

It goes on to say: "The Legends discover that their new problem is none other than Rasputin, who happens to be straight out of hell, and it might be tougher than they thought."

Constantine (Matt Ryan), meanwhile, thinks he knows the reason behind these new blips, reveals the synopsis.

'Lights, Camera, Action' is directed by Kevin Mock and written by Grainne Godfree and James Eagan. Nick Zano, Maisie Richardson-Sellers, Tala Ashe, Jes Macallan and Olivia Swann star in the episode.

In the new timeline, Zari never received the totem that would get her Behrad's powers. She instead pursued the life of a celebrity. It might not just be her fault, however, for history's new time blips. In fact, the fallout of 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' has a major role to play.

'Lights, Camera, Action' will air on The CW on January 21.
