'Survivor: Winners at War' Season 40 recently premiered on CBS, and with just two episodes down, the war has already started. Over the past two weeks, we saw Natalie, Amber Mariano and Danni get voted off the island during tribal council and sent to the Edge of Extinction.

Prior to the premiere of 'Survivor: Winners at War' Season 40 on CBS, the series hosted a red carpet of the season premiere which marks the 20th anniversary of the reality TV competition series along with the 10-year-anniversary celebration of 'Rob Has A Podcast'.

Speaking to MEA WorldWide (MEAWW) at the red carpet, past season winners who are now contestants on 'Survivor: Winners at War' shed some light on the memories the event brings back for them, and what they are expecting from the new season.

Parvati Shallow who is now in the Sele tribe shared, "It's really fun. I haven't been a part of this for 10 years. There are so many people here that I haven't seen in ages. It's just like a dysfunctional family reunion." She added, "This is actually the first time I've had like a mini-reunion with some of my castmates."

Prior to attending the red carpet, some of her fellow cast members from her season hung out at her place. She shared that she was rooting for Ben from her season who is also in the same tribe as her in 'Winners at War'.

"We're really excited to cheer on Ben, who was the winner of our season. So, just good times, good memories, a good family atmosphere."

Apart from Parvati, even Sandra Diaz from 'Winners at War' from the Dakal tribe talked about what she is most excited about this season. "It's a good season. Not because I was on it, but because you have 20 of the most skilled winners."

"Not that there are no other winners that should be out here, but you got a good bunch of winners that came to play and came to do whatever it took to take home, the $2 million," Sandra said.

When asked if it was scary being around past winners, Sandra said, "It's not intimidating at all. Not for me because I'm the two-time winner. So in that hierarchy, I am the queen. So other than that, I don't have that kind of feeling."

Sandra also said that other contestants are intimidated by her and she knows it because she had a 24ft totem of herself in 'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Season 39 where she and Rob Mariano were mentors for the contestants.

'Survivor: Winners at War' Season 40 airs every Wednesday night only on CBS. Check your local listings for more information.
