Kim started out this week with some power moves after noticing Tony's tactics and getting to know that everyone is playing his game. But sadly it backfired and fans are upset as another favorite got voted out.

'Survivor: Winners at War' Season 40 returned on Wednesday night for an all-new episode titled 'Friendly Fire'. Everyone seems to be playing Tony's game and that's exactly what happened this week too.

Last week, we witnessed a shocking blindside with Sophie's elimination, especially since she had an immunity idol with her. With mostly everyone in the tribe upset with Sophie leaving the game and heading to the Edge of Extinction, Kim decided to play some major moves to get Tony voted out.

So in order to make him the target, she discussed this with Ben, Nick, Denise, and Michele. But in no time Ben went and spilled the entire plan to Tony revealing the target has been put on his back. Tony already had an immunity idol with him, so he knew he was safe, but had to make Kim the target because of her plan to get him out.

Arriving at this week's immunity challenge, the contestants had to take part in a classic Survivor challenge. Each castaway had to put their hand above their head and stand to prevent a bucket of water tipping over them.

While the contestants were keen on winning immunity, Kim, Michele and Nick gave up when Jeff brought out a plate of cookies, peanut butter, chocolate and milk. This led to Denise and Tony winning by default as they were the only two people standing.

Arriving at tribal council, Kim and her group had to change their plan because Tony won immunity, so they decided to vote for Jeremy, but things go haywire once everyone starts gathering and talking once again during tribal council.

Jeremy thinks about playing his idol and Tony almost plays his idol for Sarah but she denies it. Once the votes were read, it was Kim who was voted out with four votes against her.

Taking to Twitter, fans shared how upset they were to see their favorite get sent to the Edge of Extinction. "KIM ROBBEDT AND NOW MICHELE ON THE BOTTOM AGAIN I HATE IT HERE #Survivor," a fan said.

"Why do players like Nick, Sarah, and Ben get to stay, while players like Kim leave?? #survivor," a fan wrote. While another fan shared, "Kim!! I am so sad!! But congrats on a great run @SpradlinKim, you are my favorite #Survivor."

"I’m so bummed it’s Kim. She was playing so well and read those people like a book. #Survivor #Survivor40 #SurvivorWinnersAtWar," a fan added. Another fan shared, "Kim was the only one who saw through Tony and his moves. An icon. Still one of the best winners #Survivor #Survivor40."

'Survivor: Winners at War' Season 40 airs every Wednesday night only on CBS. Check your local listings for more information.
