'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Season 39: Kellee Kim eliminated despite having two immunity idols with her and fans are stunned
Kellee Kim trusted her alliance and fell into the ditch when 'Survivor: Island of the Idols' season 39 returned on Wednesday night for a two-hour merge episode.
After seven weeks of plotting, scheming, blindsides, and battling against each tribe for immunity each week, 'Survivor: Island of the Idols' season 39 entered the merge on Wednesday night, and let's say a lot went down. We witnessed the producers enter the show for the first time, Dan was accused of making the other women uncomfortable by being touchy and feely, Janet felt blindsided and upset after the women complain to her about Dan, but don't vote him out, Janet even found her first immunity idol, Jamal lost his vote and tried to sabotage Dean, and much more.
But what stood out the most and left fans and viewers shocked is Kellee's elimination. Kellee found two immunity idols one before and one after the merge. She had the chance to play it smart, save herself, use an idol, and keep the next for when needed. But she trusted her alliance of women who were cunning enough to lie to her once they knew Kellee had her target on Missy and Dan was just a decoy vote. Her overconfident trust in her women's alliance sent her packing after she received the most votes and was eliminated.
Though she joins the jury, Kellee surely had the capabilities of winning the season with her strategies, only if she had used her idols as a safe move. Taking to Twitter post the elimination, fans still can't get over the fact that though Kellee had two immunity idols, she managed to get sent home without even using them.
"I still cant get over the fact Kellee had 2 fucking idols and didnt even use one on herself #survivor," wrote a fan. Adding to that another said, "I'm still mad at Kellee, leaving #survivor with two idols. @survivorcbs."
"So sad @kellee_kim was voted out. Really can’t believe the woman confided in her, only to turn their back on her and defend Dan. Not cool at all! #Survivor," shared a fan. Adding to that another said, "Wtf Kellee going home with two idols in your pocket?!?!?? #survivor."
"Kellee deserved to make it further PERIOD Girl should've just played her idol oh gosh #Survivor," wrote a fan. While another said, "I am triggered by Kellee going home and how this all went down. People manipulating others that way was disgusting. This isn't just a game. #survivor #kellee."
