After weeks of plotting and scheming on a highly personal level, the tribal council finally voted Karishma out of the competition, and fans are not happy the way it went down.

'Survivor: Island of the Idols' Season 39 returned on Wednesday night for an all-new episode, and this week it was time for some love, as the remaining eight castaways finally got get a glimpse of their loved ones when they came for a short visit. This week also new alliances were formed, trust was tested and let's just say things didn't go down as planned especially when it came to Dean and Noura.

They proved that they cannot be trusted no matter what the alliance is, and who it might be. On Wednesday night's episode, we saw Tommy, Janet, Dan and Lauren form an alliance. They plan to split the vote and take either Elaine or Karishma out. On the other hand, Noura decides to side with Dean, Elaine, and Karishma and they plan on taking Tommy out.

And that lasts till they head over to the tribal council. Dean throws Noura and the rest under the bus revealing that they plan on taking Tommy out. Noura tries to save herself but in the end, gets drowned in her own pool of lies. She throws Dean and Karishma under the bus and reveals that Elaine has an immunity idol.

While we all assumed that this would lead to either Noura or Dean's downfall, the tribal council, in the end, sent Karishma home after she received the most votes and fans aren't happy with the decision.

Claiming that Karishma was a queen the past few weeks, especially after she played the immunity idol like a boss last week and let seven votes just go without being counted, fans state that she didn't deserve to go home. But Dean, Noura or Dan deserved to go home instead.

Taking to Twitter, a fan shared, "Seriously! All that and they vote out karishma? Wow! Playing personal not smart. #Survivor." Adding to that another said, "Tonight’s episode has me so mad, I’m speaking in tongues. Dean made a colossally stupid move. All of that just to vote out Karishma. Why?????"

"Honestly Karishma should’ve stayed and Dan should’ve gone home #Survivor," wrote a fan, While another said, "#Survivor all of that for Karishma to go home... yeah I’m furious."

"Why did they not vote out crazy girl I liked Karishma and Noura is a flip flopper #survivor," shared a fan. Adding to that another said, "Karishma was the only one so far to play a hidden idol correctly and she still gets voted out. I admire her tenacity for making it as far as she did! #Survivor."
