ABC’s reboot of the '60s classic game show ‘Supermarket Sweep’ is a show following couples who battle it out using their grocery shopping skills and knowledge of merchandise to win big cash prizes.

For the second round of the latest episode of ‘Supermarket Sweep’ there were three teams. Team Marinara consisted of best friends Sarah and Malia. Team Artichoke has exes Hara and Kevin who used to date a few years ago. This is probably the first time the show had exes as team members and host Leslie Jones couldn’t help but laugh at the bizarre situation. The third team was called Team Cold Coffee because who doesn’t love cold coffee and it consisted of a couple of mommy bloggers Cecily and Rosie. “We blog about mommy stuff,” they said. When host Leslie Jones looked confused, they said “the struggle is real” to which Leslie agreed.

The first round began with mini sweeps, like the pattern of the show goes, where the first name of a celeb is the last name of a product. One of the riddles read, ‘This ‘Star Trek’ actor and a line of household cleaning products,’ with an image of Chris Pine. The correct answer was ‘Chris Pine Sol’. Another riddle like this thrown at the contestants was, ‘This comedic acting legend and a powdered drink mix’ with an image of Billy Crystal showed up on the screen, the correct answer to the riddle was ‘Billy Crystal Light’.

The second round was to guess ‘Food Facts’, for example, ‘Which of these oreo flavors is faking it?’ The options were; blackberry, peppermint bark and caramel coconut. The correct answer to the question was blackberry. And the third round was, the teams were given riddles and clues in the form of one or two random letters that the word that is the correct answer consists of.

All the three teams played well and were able to secure enough points. With 4,039 points Team Cold Coffee was in the lead, followed by Team Marinara with 3,127 points and Team Artichoke with 2,960 points.

The mommy bloggers went on to play for the cash prize of $100,000 but decided to stop after they won two rounds, which is a total of $29,039.

Catch ‘Supermarket Sweep’ every Sunday at 8/7c, only on ABC.
