The latest episode of 'Supergirl' delved into the backstory of Lena Luthor (Katie McGrath) and Andrea Rojas (Julie Gonzalo), going all the way back to the teenage days of their friendship and the reasons for their rift.

One of the revelations in the episode was that Lena had wanted to hunt down the Medallion of Acrata, as she had heard stories about it from her mother at a young age.

However, Andrea kept it, as a Leviathan stooge told her that in exchange, they would keep their father safe. When Lena finds out about this years later, she is furious and ends their friendship.

Comic book geeks would be well-aware that Andrea Rojas is Acrata. The show demonstrates that Lena, despite having the medallion, will still not possess Acrata's powers. Andrea always had those powers.

This mention of Acrata has sent fans into a whirl. One fan wrote, "OH DAMN LENA TOLD ANDREA ABOUT ACRATA?!?!?"

Another had a theory, "A crazy theory ... And if Lena becomes Acrata and thus appears in the crossover?" A fan tweeted, "Lena was supposed to be Acrata?!? Pls my heart."

Some fans believe that Lena felt "betrayed" that Andrea got Acrata powers instead of her. "I really love their friendship! Also, I'm definitely getting the vibe that they’re not friends anymore because Lena felt betrayed when Andrea got the shadow powers and not her."

Fans pointed out that Andrea was the first to hurt Lena properly, which explains her subsequent trust issues. "We really don’t know what Lena is thinking as an audience until it actually happens. Andrea was the first one to hurt Lena badly, but Lena is making her own revenge web involving #Supergirl & Ácrata."

Another tweeted, "So Lena gave Andrea the idea for Acrata..." Episode 6 of 'Supergirl' titled 'Confidence Women', aired on The CW on November 10.
