The 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' may be over, but it did ring in some major changes in the Arrowverse. The first episode of 'Supergirl' post the multiverse-breaking battle saw the characters trying to get used to Earth-Prime. One of the major storylines in the episode was Jon Cryer's Lex Luthor trying to draw Winn Schott (Jeremy Jordan) back to the present and he plans to do so by calling in a doppelganger. The CW has released new preview images and the official synopsis that sees him as a member of the Legion of Superheroes, complete with mask and suit.

The official synopsis reads: "JEREMY JORDAN RETURNS; DAVID HAREWOOD DIRECTS – As Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) tries to thwart a Toyman copycat, Winn Schott (guest star Jeremy Jordan) returns from the future. David Harewood directed the episode written by Dana Horgan & Katie Rose Rogers (#511). Original airdate 1/26/2020."

The 30-second promo sees Lex employ a version of Winn who goes by the name, Toyman. It was established earlier that the Toyman was Winn's father in Earth-38. Maybe this will see the real Winn return to the present. Jordan's Winn was a popular character in the show up till Season 3 and then left the show, but did state he would return. As reported by Comicbook, he had said: "As many of you have heard by now, Winn will no longer be a series regular on Supergirl." Jordan said on social media: "However, this is not goodbye. Although you may not see him puttering around the DEO every week, I love everyone in National City too much to stay away forever."

Ahead of last summer's San Diego Comic-Con, he also took to social media to announce that he would be back in Season 5. "Turns out Winn didn't go 1000 years into the future, just to Season 5! So happy to come back and play with my friendsssssss!!” Jordan said.

'Supergirl' returns Monday, 9 pm on The CW.
