‘Eli Apple you will burn in hell’: Bengals fans livid after touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp

Super Bowl LVI proved to be one hell of a ride for the fans as The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Cincinnati Bengals by 23-20 at SoFi Stadium on Sunday, February 13. Whilst many expressed their concern over Odell Beckham Jr getting injured in the finale, social media users did not shy away at all to brutally troll Eli Apple of the Bengals for allowing the touchdown pass to Cooper Kupp of the Rams.
 
The hashtag ‘Eli Apple’ soon reserved one of the top spots on the trending list after he yielded the final score to Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp. The clip from the Super Bowl finale soon went viral on Twitter where Eli can be seen rushing towards Kupp to get him down while the pass was wide open and he could have easily gone for the ball.

‘Eli Apple you will burn in hell’

While brutally trolling Eli, one of the users stated, “New Orleans Saints fans warned the Bengals fans about Eli Apple and they tried to defend him...look at how he repaid y'all.” Another chimed in, “For the last month, there was a question as to whether New Orleans or New York hated Eli Apple more. We now have our answer… it’s Cincinnati.” The next one shared, “Not Eli Apple. Not Eli Apple costing the Bengals their first super bowl in franchise history after talking s**t about New Orleans. Ain’t no way dawg.”
 
One user tweeted, “Eli Apple choking in the biggest moment. Ya love to see it.” Whereas, another shared, “What Kupp's doing to Eli Apple shouldn't be allowed on black history month.” One user posted, “Eli Apple giving up the game winning touchdown made this Super Bowl even better.” And, another furious user added, “Eli Apple you will burn in hell.” While, one concluded, “Eli apple asked for it and he got it.”
