Super Bowl LIV: 49ers' Richard Sherman arrives in Kobe Bryant's jersey, fans tweet 'Respect'

49ers' Richard Sherman wore a backward Kobe Bryant Jersey from an All-Star Game, donning the No. 8 (one of the retired numbers with the Lakers) as he made his way to the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.
The move left fans ecstatic as they took to Twiter and tweeted "Respect" a number of times. "Wearing a Kobe jersey will give you endless powers. The most important one, the approach to the most important game of a lifetime with #MambaMentality. #RIPMAMBA #RIPKobe" wrote a fan.
"Respect. Just one week ago... still seems surreal. Sports really do make an impact on people. Sigh," said another. One of the fans recounted the jersey to be the best of the All-Stars. "that was the best all-star jersey," the fan tweeted. Then came in the support tweets. "49ers by 24 save this tweet" and "49ers by double digits".
Bryant has been in the news throughout the week after his tragic death in a helicopter crash. As far as the game news goes, "Mamba Mentality" was the phrase used by most of the players on both sides as a mark of respect to the legendary basketball star's sheer grit and determination to win.
