KYOTO, JAPAN: Episode 3 of 'Sunny' takes the mystery element up a notch with the introduction of a new character named Hime (played by YOU), as Suzie Sakamoto (Rashida Jones) continues her quest for truth.
Despite grappling with grief, Suzie is determined to discover what her husband, Masa (Hidetoshi Nishijima) was up to. This leads her onto a dangerous path that she remains unwary of!
Hime could be a threat to Suzie Sakamoto in Apple TV+'s 'Sunny'
Hime crosses paths with Suzie at Wanted club where Hime wants Sunny to participate in a Robot fight before Suzie interrupts and takes Sunny away.
As Suzie leaves in a hurry, a push causes Hime's fake finger to fall on the ground which further baffles Suzie.
Hime is the same woman whom we saw earlier in the episode, orchestrating the torture of a man, who keeps crying and saying that he doesn't know anything.
As the episode progresses, we discover that the man being held captive by Hime is Takumi, Mixxy's friend who spills the secret of dark manual and tells Suzie about the Wanted club.
This suggests that Hime is behind the stalking of Suzie. The old man outside Suzie's house in Episode 3 followed her to Takumi's shop and then brought Takumi to Hime.
Who is Hime in Apple TV+'s 'Sunny'?
At this point, the creators haven't delved deeper into the character of Hime and her motives.
However, she seems to be part of a criminal gang that likely profits from a dark manual, allowing people to use robots for sex, killings, or fights for entertainment purposes. However it remains a mystery why she has been spying on Suzie.
As Hime unexpectedly arrives at Masa's funeral in the climax scene of 'Sunny' Episode 3, we hope to get further insight into her in the upcoming episode.
