In 'Sugar' Episode 4, we are introduced to a new character, Taylor. She is a struggling actress who met Olivia a few weeks before the latter's disappearance.

Taylor reveals that during her meeting, she told Olivia what David/Davy Siegel (Nate Corddry) did to her. Narrating the harrowing incident, Taylor recalls that when she tried for a role in Bernie Siegel's film, Davy started chasing her for sexual favors.

When she refused to sleep with him, he blackmailed her using one of their old videos that he secretly captured years ago when they were very young and made out casually.

Taylor reveals that even the cops refused to help her when they learned that the perpetrator is legendary Hollywood producer Jonathan Siegel's (James Cromwell) grandson.

Since the beginning of the investigation, John Sugar has a feeling that Bernie Siegel (Dennis Boutsikaris) is hiding something from him that is crucial to Olivia's case.

Now we know that Bernie and Margit (Anna Gunn) have been trying to cover up their son's crimes. However, their secrets don't just end here. There's a lot of unpeeling to be done yet.

Bernie has been secretly meeting his ex-wife Melanie Matthews (Amy Ryan). After spending an evening together at the Beach house in the previous episode, they again secretly meet at the screening and John Sugar observes them having an argument.

We wonder what these two are up to, especially since Melanie is fully cooperating with Sugar while Bernie isn't.

For now, we know that each of the members of this family is harboring a secret but Sugar is hell-bound to dig up all the dirt in order to find Olivia.
