'Lied to both of you': Andy Cohen STUNS 'Today' hosts Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie with epic revelation
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Andy Cohen is one of the most beloved personalities in the entertainment industry and is considered to be an icon in the world of talk show presenters. The writer-turned-producer is set to take everyone on an emotional journey of being a single father in his new book, titled ‘The Daddy Diaries’, and has been busy promoting it so that more and more books get sold. However, while appearing on the latest episode of 'TODAY', Cohen revealed something that completely terrified hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie.
Cohen made an appearance on the show to talk about his new book and how fatherhood has completely changed him. Hoda and Savannah have been really good friends with Cohen for years now and have created good memories with each other. But TODAY hosts never expected their best to drop bombshell information on LIVE television.

Cohen lied to 'TODAY' hosts on 'television'
During the ending moments of the interview, Cohen noted that he “lied” to the hosts on Thanksgiving. The conversation started with Hoda applauding the book for its content and letting Cohen know how “hilarious” it is. Savannah also joined the bandwagon and continued praising the book, making people know that Hoda also makes “appearances” in the book. Cohen, visibly happy with all the praise from his best friends, scared the hell out of the hosts when he noted that he “lied to them on Thanksgiving” and they will be able to read about that lie in the book.
“I lied to both of you on Thanksgiving, which you'll read about in the book,” Cohen said.
The duo was in shock and looked at each other in disbelief. Cohen also noted that he lied to them on “television” and that information led to Hoda saying goodbye to the television presenter in a high-pitched voice.
The hosts of ‘TODAY’ show looked a bit annoyed with Cohen’s revelation and it will be interesting to see if they will react to this issue after reading the entire book.
What is the book about?
His new book, titled ‘The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up’, is all about the drama of parenting and follows Cohen from “bottle service to baby bottles in a hilarious, heartwarming, and name-dropping account of the most important year of his life,” according to the book’s preview.
In a recent interview, Cohen admitted that parenthood has kept him “grounded” and is taking him to the next chapter of his life. He added, “Writing the other two diaries, I got to the point that I was like, “Is that all there is?” Am I just going to a late-night party guy hosting the show? There has to be something more for me. And this was it and I feel so grounded and lucky and grateful. It’s going to take me to the next chapter. Just me and the kids.”
