A 'weight-loss' study will pay you to eat AVOCADOS for six months!

A study experiment will actually pay you to eat avocados daily to see whether the fruit actually helps in losing weight

If you are someone who loves avocados and are willing to take part in a research project on whether avocados help with weight loss, then you could actually make some money off it. Researchers from Loma Linda University, Penn State, Tufts University and the University of California, Los Angeles have even offered to pay participants a sum assured of $300, who would eat avocados every day for a period of six months, as a part of the research.

Researchers are calling the experiment, "The Habitual Diet and Avocado Trial." The Loma Linda University shared that they are on the lookout for around 1,000 participants to help them figure out whether avocados contribute towards weight loss. Avocados are known to be a rich source of heart-healthy fats that can help with cholesterol, but there are concerns whether the fruit is as healthy as it seems.
