'Street Man Fighter': Mbitious winners and other 7 participating dance crews REVEALED
After waiting since May 31, fans can finally rejoice as the winners of the prequel audition show ‘Be Mbitious’ were announced. On July 5, Mnet released a special episode titled ‘Be the SMF’ that announced the eight winners that will make up the project dance crew Mbitious to compete on ‘Street Man Fighter’. In the same episode, the remaining seven participating crews set to compete in the dance survival show were also revealed. Following the immense success of ‘Street Woman Fighter’, South Korea’s first all-female dance crew competition program, Mnet released several sequels and spin-offs.
For solo male dancers who wanted to compete on ‘Street Man Fighter’, Mnet roped in 40 participants for ‘Be Mbitious’. Following three missions, they selected 21 finalists, out of which eight made it into the Mbitious crew. Some fan favorites like Pentagon’s Kino, Cha Hyunseung, Brother Bin, Xhin, and Yamakasi did not make the cut, leaving viewers disappointed. But the winners' lineup also consists of some iconic dancers like 5000 and Wootae.
