LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Stephen Colbert spun the Supreme Court's decision regarding a trademark dispute involving former President Donald Trump into a joke about a specific part of the politician's anatomy.

The case in question revolves around Steve Elster, a California native, who seeks to trademark the phrase "Trump too Small," which originated in a peculiar campaign moment between Marco Rubio and Trump in 2016, intending to use it on merchandise.

While Elster was denied the trademark, his lawyers argue it violates their client's free speech rights, and a federal appeals court agreed, stating that the phrase could still be used, just not trademarked because Trump had not consented to its use.

Quick on his comedic feet, Colbert retorted, "Small hands, large chance of driving America to some of its darkest moments since the Civil War," delivering a clever punchline with a dramatic pause, "to compensate for a tiny penis."
