Stay-at-home mothers should earn more than $160,000 for looking after their kids, claims new study
The researchers selected a bunch of jobs which reflect a day in the life of a mother and added it up using a stay-at-home parent salary wizard tool for the results
It is not easy to put a price tag on the efforts of a stay-at-home parent. However, according to a new study, the estimated amount of money that stay-at-home moms should earn is estimated to be around $162,581.
As reported by Salary.com, the results of the study were gathered in 2018 and had researchers select "a handful of jobs that reflect a day in the life of a mom" and then add it all up by using the stay-at-home parent salary wizard tool. The hybrid roles on the site include the likes of bookkeeper, tailor, public school teacher, dietitian, coach, logistics analyst amongst many others.
