Spoiler alert for 'Station 19' Season 3 Episode 14 'The Ghosts That Haunt Me'

Death leaves a hollow feeling in the chest. 'Station 19' captures it well in this week's episode as the team gets together for a fundraiser event in honor of Pruitt Herrera (Miguel Sandoval). Trying to cope with the loss of her father, Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz) finally has a smile on her face.

Andy returns to work as she and Jack Gibson (Grey Damon) try to save people trapped in a collapsing bowling alley. Meanwhile, Ben Warren (Jason George) confronts Robert Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) about his drug problem.

Maya Bishop's (Danielle Savre) mother, Katherine (Ivana Shein), pays Maya a visit. The episode turns out to be a game-changer as the characters struggle with one another's realities.

Andy and Jack finally get some time with each other and the former confesses that she's married to Sullivan. It hits Jack like a ton of bricks. He not only expresses a deep shock but even offers her the option of annulment.

At first, she tells him, "It was fast. But I don't regret it. Because my dad got me to walk down the aisle," but soon, she realizes that her marriage was a rushed decision and she was probably thinking more about her dad walking her down the aisle than the man she was getting hitched to.

Just as she poured out these words, Jack had his own big confession. Andy tells Jack he has PTSD and he opens up about his therapy, where he talks about "sex stuff" and "love stuff." Andy wonders if he means her, and it turns out to be true. Whoa! Now that she's a married woman, it will only complicate things to another level, won't it?

Meanwhile, Ben finds out about Sullivan's drug addiction and gets to know that he's dependent on fentanyl due to his chronic pain condition. Surgery is not a viable option for him and he tries to cover up how he did it for a good reason.

However, Ben is hard on him and told him to do the "right thing" before he did it. Sullivan also revealed that the reason why he had not been caught was that a cop "cashed in that favor." No surprises there, it turns out to be Fire Chief Albert Dixon (Pat Healy).

While Ben is convinced that he needs to take down Dixon, Sullivan is saved. The result: No one loses their job and Sullivan also makes an announcement about his marriage to Andy.

As he whispers "no more secrets" in her ears, all you can wonder is: What will happen to Andy's new secret? Will Andy run into Jack's arms and have an extra-marital affair despite being with Sullivan? Only time will tell.

The episode also marked a major change for Maya's relationship with Carina DeLuca (Stefania Spampinato). When the former's mother announced that she left her father, she just couldn't deal with it.

Instead of understanding her situation, she went on to say, "Did you come here just to badmouth Dad?" As she wasn't ready to confront her past, she even lashed out at her girlfriend.

With that intense ending, the new episode catches you off guard and leaves you with plenty of questions. As the drama returns next week, it may bring a whole lot of twists and turns. Are you ready for two major relationship brawls? Well, get set for more emotional setbacks!
