'Station 19' Season 3 Episode 13 Preview: Will Sullivan's health deteriorate and give Andy a double blow?
'Station 19' left a huge hole in many hearts after the heroic death of Pruitt Herrera (Miguel Sandoval) and the next episode may be a mournful one as the firefighters reminisce his memories.
Titled 'Dream A Little Dream of Me', the episode will delve deep into Andy Herrera's (Jaina Lee Ortiz) reaction to her father's death and sacrifice. In a new promo, Vic yells at all the firefighters, "We are all alive because of Pruitt Herrera. We get to live. We get to breathe." In another scene, Travis, Vic, and Maya mourn his death and Vic tells the others, "I am so sad."
Soon after, Fire Chief Albert Dixon (Pat Healy) tells Maya Bishop (Danielle Savre) to get her team to pull themselves up.
Maintaining a strong stance, she says, "My former captain sliced through a roof and fell to his death saving my entire team. I will not apologize." Towards the end of the clip, Robert Sullivan (Boris Kodjoe) drops to the floor. Is his health condition deteriorating? If that is the case, it will be another blow for Andy who might already be reeling with her shock of her dad's death.
The episode summary reads, "Vic rallies the crew to pose for a calendar photo shoot that will support a good cause. Meanwhile, Emmett comes clean to Ben and Sullivan, and shows Andy a softer side."
Fans are really taken aback by the new developments. "My heart is ripped into so many pieces I can’t. Andy is slowly becoming Meredith with all these tragedies around her. I’m so upset and the show is sooo good I won’t stop watching it. She just got married and won’t even enjoy the honeymoon phase. Thanks, writers," one wrote and another said, "I mean at this point does anyone need to know Sullivan OD'd, he seems fine now and he said he was clean..... Chief Dixon's gonna raise hell omg, the team is grieving and I can't even imagine Andy right now."
Another fan wrote, "This episode is gonna be intense. I really hope Andy doesn’t go making “impulse” decisions like Meredith would her and Sullivan are going strong right now. And for Sullivan I don’t think he’ll be fired, he’ll be penalized for stealing and lying to FD but they would need to take into context the fact that he is suffering from a medical condition which tho it could have been solved and he turned down it’s still something he’s suffering from."
Directed by Stacey K. Black and written by Rob Giles, the episode will air on ABC this Thursday, April 16, 2020, at 9 pm ET.
