'Start-Up' Episode 4 had seen Nam Do-san (Nam Joo-hyuk) come to an important conclusion after he realized that everything that Dal-mi (Bae Suzy) had liked about him was all connected to the boy who wrote her letters when she was young. He asks her why she likes him and she speaks about his letters among other things and all of it goes back to Ji-pyeong (Kim Sun-ho). The only thing that she says about Do-san is the fact that she likes his hand being bigger than hers. So he decides that he will become a person whom she can grow to like and that is why he signs up to become a part of the competition run by Sandbox.

Of course, Dal-mi was also inspired to join the competition to see if she was really capable of making something of herself with her business ideas. Her sister In-jae (Kang Han-na) too comes along because she is now sick and tired of having to use connections and influence to make do with her position in her stepfather's business. At the end of Episode 4, we saw Dal-mi find out that Do-san had lied about his company having found an investor but instead of getting mad at him or even feeling betrayed, she ends up giving Do-san an opportunity. Since none of them were able to get selected as the CEO, they need a contestant who was chosen as one and so Dal-mi asks him if he would be interested in hiring her as their CEO. On the other hand, In-jae asks him if the three of them would be interested in being hired as developers for In-jae's company.

So even speaking of his decision objectively, Do-san realizes that he needs someone who would work with him for his company and not someone who he would be working for. His friends who also happen to be fellow developers end up agreeing with him and the promo that was released after this episode hints at how the upcoming episode will see Dal-mi find out some truth about Ji-pyeong. Is it about him being the person who wrote her the letters or is it just about him helping Do-san find investors at Sandbox? Either way, we will see her confront Ji-pyeong in the upcoming episode and we cannot wait to see how this confrontation might change the dynamics between Do-san and Dal-mi if she were to learn that he is actually a stranger.

'Start-Up' will air on tvN on Saturdays and Sundays at 9 pm KST, and can be streamed on Netflix in the US.
