LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: Netflix releases the first 5 episodes of the British show 'Squid Game: The Challenge' on November 22. The reality series is based on the South Korean show 'Squid Game.'

'Squid Games: The Challenge' is a collaboration in between independent TV production companies Studio Lamber and The Garden both of which are British. Despite this the 10-episode series features mostly American cast members.

Mocking the diversity of 'Squid Game: The Challenge,' a fan took to the Reddit thread with title, "Lack of Asian representation in the squid game the challenge when the original series came from asia lol."

The user added, "Funny how squid game originated from Asia but the squid game the challenge, theres not really much asian representation lol."

A user reacted, "Bruh, this new game-show is made in Britain. It would be kind of weird if they just picked Asian people simply because the original show was made in Korea." Another replied with a sarcastic answer, "Then why is 90 per cent of the cast American."

Another mocked the recently released show, "How much representation and diversity is there in the original series?" "I wish it wasn't just Americans like there are a few British people, one annoying Italian guy and the rest is just American," mocked a fan.

Another dubbed the show "dumb" saying, "I came here to exactly say this LOL what a f**king dumb show."
