‘Best moments’: Spectacular video shows tour guide and horse encountering dolphins in crystalline waters
BUSSELTON, AUSTRALIA: In a new astonishing video, a tour guide and her horse are captured experiencing ‘one of the best moments’ of their lives as they come face-to-face with three dolphins on a remote beach. Emma Gibbons and her horse, Wolfy, encountered the marine animals in the crystal clear water at Forrest Beach near Busselton in Western Australia's Margaret River region in January 2023.
Gibbons shared the footage of the unbelievable moment on her Instagram on Thursday, February 23. The clip captured the dolphins joyfully swimming around each other as they slowly approach the shore, making Wolfy the horse appear fearful. Wolfy can then be seen becoming a bit hesitant before starting to turn and return to the safety of the coastline. Gibbons captioned the post “Me: Literally one of the best moments of my life, Wolfy: Get away you slippery sea demons.”

Why were several Sydney beaches closed?
The tour guide and her horse experienced this ethereal incident after several popular beaches in Sydney were closed when sharks attacked a dolphin in waters near the city. The attack happened in January 2023, when a number of injured dolphins circled the shallow waters before dying on the beach. At least two bull sharks were spotted in the Shelly Beach area, in northern Sydney, after the attack and authorities closed all nearby beaches as a precaution, as per BBC. Tracey Hare-Boyd, a spokeswoman from Surf Life Saving New South Wales (SLSNSW), said that, luckily, no person had been injured or involved in the attack.
