A 32-year-old special needs teacher was reportedly sentenced to five years in prison after she admitted to sexually assaulting two schoolboys because she was not getting enough sex at home. The teacher, identified as Laura Ramos, reportedly engaged in a sexual activity with a teenager in her car and had a public tryst with another student from the school in a restaurant's 'electrical room', according to the Sun.

She reportedly also sent a text message to one of the students, complaining that her partner "didn't want to have sex or do anything with her." She sent the message while she was teaching at the Central High School, Bridgeport, Connecticut.

According to the court documents, the woman, along with one of the student "go into the electrical room of the restaurant and they start kissing. Later that night he receives a text message from Mrs. Ramos telling him the sex was the best she ever had." The teenager in the case, who cannot be identified, reportedly told the officers that Ramos could have also been pursuing at least three or four other students for sexual activities at the school.

Ramos, who has a two-year-old son, was initially arrested in June 2017 after one of her special needs students reported that he had sex with her between December 2016 and April 2017. Three days after the initial report, another student came forward and said that he had sexually engaged with her after she opened up to him about her marital problems.

"Ramos would complain that her ‘man’ or ‘guy’ does not want to have sex or do anything with her," the police files said. The court also heard that the duo had sex in the teacher's car in April last year. According to the detectives' notes, said: "The next day he goes to school and Mrs. Ramos acted as if nothing ever happened". Reports state that Ramos then had a fling with the student at a restaurant later that month.

Ramos reportedly pleaded no contest to sexually abusing the two students at Fairfield County Courthouse. Superior Court Judge Robert Devlin, after the hearing, said that he would sentence the special needs teacher to a maximum of five years in prison. "Do you think the state has sufficient evidence that it does expose you to the risk of being convicted?" — to which she replied: "Probably."

Although the 32-year-old could have faced up to 25 years in prison if convicted of the charges the judge said he would sentence her to a maximum of five years when he sentences her on January 25. Ramos is currently free on bond.
