Southern Charm's Thomas Ravenel seen taking magic mushrooms in new video amid muscleman porn allegations
New documents filed in the court against 'Southern Charm's' Thomas Ravenel reveal the reality star experimented with hallucinogenic drugs at a party and engaged in inappropriate and violent behavior. The newly surfaced video produced as evidence by his ex Kathryn Dennis in support of getting sole custody of their two children, Kensington, 5, and Saint, 3, showed Ravenel taking magic mushrooms at a party.
In the footage, Ravenel is seen standing among a group of people with music playing in the background. A few seconds into the video is seen putting his hand into a plastic bag. “I’ve never tried this in my life,” Ravenel is heard saying in the video, as reported by the Daily Mail. “Just one, just one.”
The video pans towards other members present but manages to capture Ravenel every now and then. In one of the segments of the video, a woman can be heard saying in the background, "You’re gonna do that right now? Thomas, no! No, you’re, like, gonna geek out right now!” The woman further adds, “I wouldn’t want to do it. I don’t want to hallucinate."
However, Ravenel chooses to ignore her and adds, “It’s just mushrooms.” It is unclear when the video was taken but Dennis filed the video and claimed there have been various occasions where she has received videos like these.
Among these accusations, Dennis stated she received another video in which Ravenel was seen intoxicated. The video is proof of how the reality star breached their agreement which stated either of them would not be intoxicated or under the influence while caring for their children.
The affidavit also noted incidents which claimed Ravenel watched muscleman porn and pleasured himself on her back while she slept. She further added Ravenel engaged in sexually assaultive, violent and inappropriate behavior.
"The time that we had a pool party and Thomas was so drunk while holding Kensie that he fell into the pool with her as a baby and I had to jump in to grab Kensie: the Christmas where Thomas flew into a rage [sic] and threw the Christmas tree that I had decorated across the room,” she wrote in the affidavit. “The time he put my fake fur coat in a tub full of water…the time he threw a lamp at me and glass shattered everywhere, and the time he threw an astray [sic] in my face.”
“And the time …when he masturbated on my back while I was asleep because he was mad at me for rejecting his advances for sex (because I was exhausted and pregnant). I also discovered that he had been watching muscleman porn that night,” she added. These allegations come after Ravenel pled guilty to third-degree assault and battery.
