'Southern Charm': Shep Rose and Danni Baird address Chlamydia rumors but fans are sure 'Madison spilled the truth'

'Southern Charm' is bringing in the heat by addressing past rumors. In the previous season, Madison LeCroy accused Shep Rose of transmitting Chlamydia to Danni Baird. Both of them were swift to deny the claims but Madison wouldn't give up. She insisted that it was the truth. It was a heated argument, during which Madison shared that her on-again-off-again boyfriend Austen Kroll had given her the information. " "That is a lie. A blatant lie. It’s not a fact,” Danni had said and added: “Madison, you can’t be throwing random s**t around like that, it’s just not cool."

While Shep was surprised that Madison would go to such lengths to hurt people. The topic was discussed during one of the reunion episodes but that outcome was similar because Shep and Danni didn't want to add to it anymore than what they already have. 

For the moment, it was sidelined until they decided to bring it up in this week's episode. Danni said she never really had a chance to talk to Madison about the incident and added that she was so hurt by it. Those times were hard for her and she had to go through a lot to overcome it. Shep nodded his head in agreement while showing support.

"What Madison said was very hurtful and untrue, and I feel as though it was clearly calculated, both directed at Shep and to me,” Baird told The Daily Dish in an interview ahead of the episode’s airing," Danni told the Daily Dish while addressing the rumors. 

Meanwhile, fans seem to be certain the chlamydia rumors are true. "So does everyone agree that the chlamydia allegation was in fact, 100% true? #SouthernCharm," a user commented, while another shared: "Shep is apologizing to Dani for Madison saying he gave her chlamydia? Especially because what Madison spilled is probably the truth but dang, for the whole world to know your previous STD status...that just sucks #SouthernCharm," a fan expressed.
