'So much delusion': Donald Trump trolled as ex-POTUS claims his opponents believe he had 'one of the great presidencies'
CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA: With only six weeks left for the 2024 Iowa Republican presidential caucuses, Donald Trump has claimed that his presidency from 2017 to 2021 was "one of the greatest presidencies" in the nation's history.
Addressing the crowd at a rally at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids in the Hawkeye State on Saturday, December 2, the ex-POTUS said that even his opponents admitted that he "did very well" during his time in office.

Donald Trump claims his presidency put America first
Less than three minutes into his speech, Donald Trump highlighted his opinions about his term in the White House. According to him, in 2016, Americans voted and stood up to those people in the capital who "looted" their money.
He claimed, "You elected an outsider as your president, and it was about America first, we want to put our country first. They haven't done that in a long time, but we did it for four years, and that's why we did so well. That's why it was one of the great presidencies they say. Even the opponents sometimes say that he did very well."
Trump criticized the current administration for turning the country into a "more extreme and repressive" and waging "an all-out war with each passing day," promising the crowd that he would bring the "country to levels that it hasn't seen."
The former president, who faces felony charges for trying to overturn the 2020 elections, made statements contradicting the accusations, making comments like "they tried to overthrow the duly elected president, rigged, and stole" the 2020 election.
The billionaire White House hopeful's raucous speech blamed Joe Biden, saying the incumbent weaponized "government against his political opponents."
According to CNN, Trump's Saturday campaign launched a six-figure broadcast TV ad buy in Iowa with two commercials. One ad is an attack on Biden, and the other highlights past praise of Trump by the Florida Governor and fellow Republican presidential candidate.
Internet slams Donald Trump over his claim of having 'one of the greatest presidencies'
Donald Trump's Cedar Rapids speech was not well received by netizens, with many saying he had not done anything worthy.
One wrote, "So much delusion. @atrupar is a Saint for following these so we don't have to," while another asked, "Is he referring to the record debt from his tax cuts for the rich, Covid deaths or job losses."
A user shared a meme with the caption "He is" suggesting Trump is "delusional."
Someone else sighed, "The worstest president in the history," with another person quipping, "Sorry Don. That was a misquote. They actually said it was 'One of the Great Travesties'."
"Said absolutely NOBODY...EVER!!!" asserted a netizen and one more added, "Of all the things that no one has ever said, this was definitely never said."
