LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Season 4 of 'Snowpiercer' introduces fresh challenges for Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs), a Tailie turned train leader in previous seasons.
Season 3 ended on a cliffhanger for Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs) as he made the bold decision to separate Big Alice from Snowpiercer in an attempt to find a warm spot on Earth.
However, unpredictable weather and limited resources aren't his only challenges in this new mission.
Andre Layton's daughter is kidnapped in 'Snowpiercer' Season 4
Season 4 begins on a hopeful note for Andre and his supporters as they rebuild their lives off the train for the first time in eight years. However, an unknown danger looms, creating unrest among everyone.
Dr Headwood (Sakina Jaffrey) sneaks in with a mysterious figure clad in a metal suit and abducts Andre's daughter, Liana. Zarah Fahrami (Sheila Vand) dies while trying to stop them.
In her final moments, Zarah reveals to Josie Wellstead (Katie McGuinness) that Liana's kidnapper is not from their train but a stranger, with Dr Headwood’s backing.
What's next for Andre Layton in 'Snowpiercer' Season 4?
Seeing Zarah's dead body fills Andre with anguish, and he vows to take vengeance on those responsible for Liana's abduction. At this point, he is restless and ready to go to any lengths to find his daughter and take revenge.
Unless the kidnapper makes contact and reveals his intentions, Andre will have to continue navigating the deserted world in his quest to locate and track them down. But does that mean another war in the post-apocalypse world?
The final frame of Episode 1 suggests that Liana's kidnappers are the same group who forcefully boarded Snowpiercer nine months ago.
The leader of the group introduced himself as Admiral Anton Milius (Clark Gregg) from International Peacekeeping Forces.
As Season 3 got rid of its major antagonists- LJ (Annalise Basso) and Joseph Wilford (Sean Bean), we expect Milius to be the new villain of the show, trying to take Big Alice and Snowpiercer from Andre and Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly).
