LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The much-awaited finale season of 'Snowpiercer' finally arrived on AMC+ on July 21, 2024. The story picks up exactly from where things were left off in Season 3's finale episode.
The lifesaving train now exists in two parts- one led by Andre Layton (Daveed Diggs), who journeys to New Eden in search of a warm spot on Earth, and the other led by Melanie Cavill (Jennifer Connelly), who assumes the responsibility of keeping humanity alive should Andre's plan fail.
Luckily for Andre, New Eden doesn't disappoint as it holds the potential of habitat. However, people continue to face problems such as a lack of food and power supply. On top of it, the invasion by an unknown survivor brings troubles that Andre didn't anticipate.
What happens to Zarah Fahrami in 'Snowpiercer' Season 4 Episode 1?
Actress Sheila Vand's association with 'Snowpiercer' comes to an end sooner than expected. She, who plays the role of Zarah Fahrami, meets an unfortunate end while trying to save her daughter Liana.
As Zarah returns from treating Oz (Sam Otto), she spots Dr Headwood (Sakina Jaffrey) and a stranger dressed in a metal suit secretly taking Liana away.
Terrified, Zarah tries to snatch her baby girl. However, Dr Headwood keeps asking her not to fight back as the stranger is a "friend" and is "trying to help".
Zarah doesn't listen and continues to fight. Eventually, the stranger hits her brutally and evades Liana in his captive.
When Josie Wellstead (Katie McGuinness) and Boki (Aleks Paunovic) find Zarah at the bottom of the cliff, she is barely alive. She manages to tell them about the abduction before taking her final breath.
Who kidnaps Andre Layton's daughter in 'Snowpiercer' Season 4?
The kidnapping of Andre Layton's daughter happens nine months after Admiral Anton Milius (Clark Gregg) hijacks Melanie Cavill's train.
Liana's kidnapper is seen wearing the same metal suit as Milius and his men. We can speculate that Milius took over Snowpiercer and tracked down Andre to gain control over Big Alice as well.
However, since Headwood already knows the man in the metal suit, we can also assume that Joseph Wilford (Sean Bean) is back and is ready to take revenge.
