'Snowpiercer' Episode 10: LJ and Osweiller's budding friendship is an interesting twist but will it last?

There have been a lot of twisted characters aboard the Snowpiercer but none quite so psychotic as LJ Folger (Annalise Basso). The rich young girl has committed brutal crimes and walked away but now that the revolution is here, we see a whole different side of the character.
After the death of her parents, LJ is thrown out of her car in First Class by Pike (Steven Ogg) and his friends, who claim it as their own. We see her struggling to deal with her new reality and breaking down in Third Class where she meets another twisted character, John Osweiller (Sam Otto).
Osweiller calms LJ down and they bond over their shared status as outcasts and "bad eggs". We can see a possible romance blossoming between the two, though with Osweiller's habit of trading drugs for blowjobs from Tailie men, we're not entirely certain of his sexual orientation.
Whether they're going to fall in love (and bed) or not, it does look like Osweiller and LJ are becoming friends and this will probably come up again when Season 2 of 'Snowpiercer' arrives but there's always the possibility that LJ might turn on Osweiller before long. Considering her penchant for castrating people just for the fun of it, Osweiller might do well to be wary of the young Folger.
And besides, it's not like Osweiller is a saint either. It's perfectly plausible that he might sell LJ out if it meant saving his skin, which would give the young psychopath more than enough reason to chop off an appendage or two. With the final moments of the episode showing the Snowpiercer getting invaded, there's a pretty good chance that moment of desperation might come sooner rather than later.
Of all the people on 'Snowpiercer', Osweiller and LJ are definitely the most volatile and outright vile. And while this does make them perfect for each other, it also means they're both extremely likely to destroy each other before the train completes another revolution around the world.
