Will Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) and Gustavo escape the tiger was one of the questions ahead of 'Snowfall' Season 5 Episode 6, and the answer: 'Yes', and rather quickly at that. The duo encounters the man who shot them with tranquilizers and though they recover, they find themselves in trouble locked up in a cage with a tiger in the next one. The second part, 'The Illiad: Part 2' opens with the duo screaming for help, but the man who shoots them in an attempt to have them killed by the tiger has his own leg bitten off.

In a twist, the two escaped only to be caught by another bunch of hoodlums. Twitter wasn't happy with the developments and felt the tiger scene was an absolute waste of time. "John Singleton is not happy with this at all #SnowfallFX," one of the fans wrote. "They did all that just to still end up getting caught #SnowfallFX," another opined. "#SnowfallFX pissing me off already," a fan exclaimed.

"They could have left the tiger out of this sh*t! The outcome was underwhelming only for them to get away then get caught by the mfers that was chasing them! Who wrote that shit! #SnowfallFX #FXSnowfall," one of the fans commented. "Is this really what John Singleton had in mind for #Snowfall #SnowfallFX," another tweet read.

However, the tiger storyline wasn't completely done with as Franklin baits the gang that nabbed him and Gustavo saying the money was at the house they were picked up from. He leads them back only for them to be attacked by the beast again. The focus of the episode was ideally supposed to be the person behind the hits on the Saints. Only time will tell if it was Peaches or Kane Hamilton. Those watching the episode might also feel Teddy had a thing or two to do with it.

'Snowfall' Season 5 airs Wednesdays at 10 pm ET on FX.
